Hello everyone, friends, family, colleagues and anyone kind enough to

take a moment to read this. My name is Stacy Bate, and honestly, this is

my first time ever setting up a GoFundMe, so please bear with me if it's a bit rough around the edges.

I'm reaching out because my dear and beloved friend, a primary custodial parent who's facing an unfortunate and illegitimate legal situation, needs our help, and I just can't stand by without trying.

For those who know me, you know I'm the type who hates asking for

anything. I've always prided myself on handling things on my own. But

this is different. My dear and beloved friend must stay anonymous here due to sensitive career and family reasons, and they're up against a judicial proceeding that could change everything for them.

We've all seen how the system works: without proper representation, you're stuck with overworked legal aid that might not give the case the attention it deserves. It's heartbreaking, but in this world, real justice often comes down to what you can afford. The rich and powerful walk free while everyday folks like my friend bear the brunt. I refuse to let that happen here, not to someone who's already juggling so much as a primary custodial parent.

The goal is $6,500 to cover a solid attorney who can truly fight for

them and level the playing field. The court date is September 24th, so

time is tight, we need to move fast. If you know me at all, you know

this plea comes from the heart, and it's completely legitimate. I've

supported countless fundraisers myself over the years, drawn in by their genuine need, and now I'm hoping you'll see the same in this one.
