Help Secure Housing for BCM Student, Sarah Robinson

Hello friends, family, and everyone in between! As many of you know, I have been gifted the incredible opportunity to attend the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX to help me to pursue a career in Prosthetics and Orthotics. The program was extremely competitive to get into and for that I am so honored to be added to this class. With all this being said I spent so much of my time dedicated to working two jobs and spending any spare time to saving up for my future. During this time I had an accident that made this future goal so much more difficult to achieve. All the money I had saved would have to be used to finish paying off my now totaled car. I spent the next few months saving up unsure what that would look like. I had a grant that would pay for my housing and I was financially stable enough to purchase a used car with the money I had saved up.

Today I have received the news that the housing grant I had fell through and that I have no way to pay for housing while I attend school. I currently work two jobs and have been using the money I made to make car payments on my new vehicle.

I really need some help. There is quite literally no way for me to make enough money to pay for an apartment and my car. I’m evaluating all my options, but if I don’t have a way to stay in Houston, I’ll have to drop from the program. I have worked too hard to lose this opportunity and I need help to make these dreams come true. If you can please find it in your hearts to donate or share so that I can go attend this amazing school/program I would owe each of you the whole world. Thanks in advance for your kindness and support
