Allow me to take a moment of your time and tell you a story.
This is about a dog that has been at my job since March. I've tried, different people tried but no one has been able to catch her. About a month animal control was called on her along with them pell city police showed up too. Since then this baby was a nervous wreck. Every siren, pc cop car, fire truck etc she would run. She would run for her life. Literally. I really think she could read lol. Because she could tell the difference in car decals on the different police cars.
She was darted 4 times by ac. They were running out of ways to stop her from being a nuisance. I myself long with vet recommended medication tried to slow her down just so we could catch her. We all knew that her time was running out. But finally YESTERDAY on the strawberry moon night her stars aligned and she was captured. Her struggle is over. Her days to a happy life are right here right now. This girl has ran long enough. Its time for her to rest. To not have to search for food any longer. She has been safely caught. No injuries to anyone involved. With time love and patience Her true self will be shown. Many prayers for us as we adjust and she as well. She's a special dog who faught hard to stay alive. She deserved a chance and now she has 1. She has gone from pell cities most wanted to I now have a home.
I can't thank the people involved in her rescue enough. She is truly a success story. One that alabama needs more of.
All of this being said this girl is use to her freedom. And while she's doing great in the house. She needs her outdoor time too. I need to fence in my yard. So she doesn't escape. Please help if you can.
