My cars transmission went out and I am trying to raise money to get a new vehicle. While working full time and in grad school, I recently had to move into a new place and my savings/credit cards are tapped. I can walk to work from my new place but I have a 60 mile commute multiple days a week for school that I need a reliable awd/4wd vehicle for - there is no public transportation options in this area that support my schedule. This money will be used on a down payment for a vehicle.

If I cant get transportation I will be forced to give up on my psychology dotorate program. I am hoping with this ask I can pay it forward when life becomes more stable.
