Hello everyone,

After careful thought and a few different offers I’ve decided to choose this 1998 Volvo S70 as my next vehicle. One of my friends made this happen for me and I’ll be forever grateful. The only downside is that it is nearly 100 miles away and it has been sitting for four months.

Before I try to drive it home I would like to have a mechanic check it over, have the tires looked at and fix any minor repairs. It is having trouble starting. I am hoping it’s the battery, but it might be the alternator, too. It was very well maintained before the gentleman passed away, so I am not too concerned about anything else right now.

Unfortunately, my insurance has doubled due to my accident being my fault and I haven’t been able to work. I’ve been working with Easter Seals and CORE job training so I have three new job interviews in the next two weeks! If I can just get moving again I may have a “real” job to go to! Riding lessons and pet sitting have been put on hold since I have been without a vehicle. I may have to pay for an Uber to get TO the car, too…

I am SO close to getting everything together again. I don’t want to have to inconvenience my friends anymore by needing rides….I questioned doing this because I did it once before to make sure that my horse had a good home….but this is my current situation and I’m going to ask for help. I’ll be very thankful for any small amount. I may not need it all. In that case I can return it if you’d like me to. Thank you for reading. ❤️
