Without revealing too many details to protect my privacy, these past few months I have gone through events that have been detrimental to my mental health and put me in positions comprising my housing and ability to work. Fortunately, I’ve made steps towards bettering my mental health and I’ll have medication soon but I’m still struggling financially until I can work. Yesterday my landlord gave me 2 days to be out of the studio space I use to tattoo because he saw syringes for my hormones along with some from my friends that were going to be tossed and assumed that they had been used to inject drugs after a hang at my studio late night. It’s not easy for me to ask for help but I’m uncomfortable with beginning a legal battle to maintain a space where I don’t feel welcome or understood. Due to me taking a step back from work I don’t have the funds to move all my stuff from my work studio at this moment or a place to work. I’m hoping to crowdfund for up to $4-6k so I can find a new studio asap for my studio mate and I /put my equipment in storage. This is an uncomfortable situation to be in but I’m hopeful that my community can show me support. My closer friends know the details of things I’ve been dealing with for the past year and why I keep it private. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Love you guys
