Help Secure a Home for a New Start in 2025

Hi there,

My 2025 has been an utter b*tch. I lost my job in December, struggled for 3 weeks to get approved for unemployment, spent over $2000 on repairs to keep my car on the road. I fell overdrawn by unexpected expenses causing over $200 in fees, unable to pay for my car for two months almost losing my loan to the point of being borderline bankrupt.

During this time, I applied for over 40 positions and got turned down for every one of them. I was almost ready to move back to my parents house and leave the states when I got accepted for a job at MaineHealth.

It came at a price. I lost my apartment due to a disagreement with my roommates, and I feel unsafe living there.

I am now living back in my car with no heating or bathroom. It's frosty at night and I'm not sleeping well. I'm fighting my depression real hard while starting a new job.

Today (3/28) I got approved for a one bedroom property within my budget. However, they cannot hold the property if I don't put the $1250 security deposit down.

I need to make the first months rent of $1350 by 4/18.

If you have any money (even if its to lend me) it will be greatly appreciated. I've got a LOT of income coming in by the end of April, I just need this last beg for help to help me get finally back on my feet.
