My name is Karla; I live in the East Bay, California, and I love animals, especially those that have been discarded or left behind alone and helpless. I am creating this GoFundMe account for Second Chance Animal Sanctuary in Kiboga, Uganda, for stray cats and dogs. Joseph and his team bring such care and humanity to the animals at the sanctuary, but the need is great and the resources are few, so this is where you come in!

I am appealing to all humans who care deeply about the well-being of defenseless animals in need of medical care, basic food, and shelter. Joseph is the primary founder and volunteer at Second Chance Animal Sanctuary and needs our help to continue to pay for veterinary care, food, and make his dream of buying land and building a bigger shelter for up to 1000 stray dogs and cats. Every donation is greatly appreciated and no donation is too small; monthly donations are always best as they provide Joseph and his small team continuity to continue to care for the stray animals.
