Update:

The Molina family is grateful to share that Sebastian is now home and recovering after experiencing a serious neurological medical issue. They want to sincerely thank the Yuma Community for the incredible outpouring of prayers, generosity, and support during this difficult time.

Sebastian will need some time and rest as he continues his recovery. The family kindly asks for understanding in giving him space without visits for now.

Your continued prayers mean the world to the Molinas, and they are deeply touched by the love shown to their family!!

Gerardo Molina's son, Sebastian A. Molina, is currently at Phoenix Children's Hospital ICU. He has been intubated and sedated since Monday night, Aug. 25, 2025, and has not responded to efforts to wake him up. Sebastian appears to have a neurological condition. Today, Aug. 28, 2025, a spinal fluid tap will be conducted to find the cause of his illness, which is still unknown.

Sebastian is a 17 year-old senior at Yuma Catholic High School aspiring to graduate with his associate's degree from AWC before graduating from high school. Sebastian wants to enter the medical field in either nursing or Physical Therapy.
