First and foremost, I want to give all glory to God that He has carried us through one of the most difficult years my family has faced. I am a father of 10, and one of my sons, Sebastian James, was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma in February of this year. He just turned 21 in May of this year. He is a father to a 6-month-old baby girl, a 1-year-old, a 2-year-old, and 2 stepdaughters aged 13 and 3. He was barely making a blueprint for his life, working towards goals and dreams he planned to achieve. He was employed as a corrections officer at TDCJ when cancer came knocking at his door. A trip to the emergency room in late January revealed he had a giant mass that was growing rapidly. It turned out to be a very aggressive Ewing Sarcoma. He began chemotherapy right away and had surgery in June. Shortly after, he began more rounds of chemotherapy and has now developed complications from it. He was recently admitted to the ER in BSA (Amarillo, TX) with a blood clot. His medical team performed a thrombectomy. He was released, and 3 days later, another blood clot was found in his lung. We are asking for help to get our son to MD Anderson in Houston, TX. They have the leading team of sarcoma specialists. He has fought so hard these last 11 months and still has a lot to fight for. Any help with prayers and donations would help give my son a second chance to fight his cancer and help get him the help he needs. Thank you and God bless.
