Help Sebastian Fight Severe Anemia

My cat Sebastian has been hospitalized at BluePearl since Saturday with severe anemia due to an infection that was caused by his immunosuppressant medication to treat his inflammatory bowel disease.

He's had 3 blood transfusions and is on IV antibiotics. He IS improving but it takes about a week for the antibiotics and his body to catch up on making its own red blood cells. I'm embarrassed asking for help for my own animals, but the cost of his hospitalization has already cost over $13,000 and we have been slammed with other medical vet bills recently for our other animals - torn ACL on our one dog that requires surgery, a cancer scare with our other dog, etc. We have spent tens of thousands of dollars doing our best to take care of our babies.

I can't not help Sebastian get well again and he is improving every day. He is not at that point where I could consider euthanasia - I love him and want to be able to help him. So, as embarrassing as this is, I am asking for any bit of help anyone can provide. Me, my family, and Sebastian would be forever grateful ❤️.
