Hi, this is my son Sebastian. Sebastian is the most courageous, kind, funny, smart, and brave kid you can possibly meet. He is 7 years old and was diagnosed with Alopecia Areata on February 28, 2025. It started off with a small patch, and in June, he lost his hair completely. Now he has also started losing his eyebrows and some lashes. It was something so quick and hard to wrap our heads around everything that was happening, especially for a kid that does not understand why all of this is happening. We had tried several topical treatments which unfortunately did not work.

By now, he was offered steroid shots on his head to try to bring down the inflammation and stimulate hair growth. After long thinking and talking with Sebastian and his doctor, we decided to give it a try, as well as trying other treatments. Sebastian’s faith in God and hope of having his hair back has made him go through with these treatments as a true trooper.

Unfortunately, they are not fully covered, and we have to pay a coinsurance. Each treatment is about $2000 every 6 weeks. We have done 2 treatments now and are in the process of the 3rd one, and it is calculated for him to have up to 6.

I know times are tough, but I ask that whatever amount you can donate will be greatly appreciated. No amount is a small amount to help Sebastian reach his dream of getting his hair back or at least try.
