Help Sebastian come home!

This is the story of Sebastian Rodas and it goes like this...... when he was 2 he suffered from ear infections, on one occasion caused a high fever. This high fever started a snowball effect of seizures for him. That day he stopped breathing and his heart stopped. Luckily we lived close to the hospital and he was able to be resuscitated. He is now almost 23 and continues to suffer from grand mal seizures a few times a year. He also suffers from mini seizures on a regular basis. The biggest obstacle Sebastian has to overcome is his autism. He is on the spectrum, I’d say that he is at the age level of a 7 year old. He communicates pretty well, he can tell you all about his day. He has sensory issues where loud noises affect him, it’s hard for him to manipulate small things. While he enjoys making crafts (cutting and gluing) it’s hard for him to be able to preform daily tasks such as bathing properly. He is helpful and likes to create shopping lists and help put the dishes away. However, Sebastian is not easy to live with. He is obsessive compulsive and can easily be Set off; if pushed too far he will usually hurt himself and on occasion, others if he is provoked. He is a big boy!!!! As in tall and a heavy weight!!! So it’s best if he is not triggered. That said he is a sweet heart. He has the biggest heart. He is thoughtful. He calls people he knows to wish them a happy birthday, and once he knows your birthday he will never forget Trust me!!!!

I’m writing to ask for help. Over the last decade my brother moved with my father to California. Where my dad was living was a little difficult to find a job ( Carpenter / Jack of all trades ) near their home. The problem is that my dad did not have anyone to help him with Sebastian. When Sebastian was sick or had a problem at school and needed to be picked up early (which was quite often) my dad had no choice but to leave work to go get him. As you see it was difficult for my father to keep steady income flowing. My dad later decided to be a stay at home parent for Sebastian‘s well-being. My dad has exhausted his stay at a relatives house. My dad and brother are ready to come back home to Florida. Unfortunately as they were preparing to come back these last few months, my dad‘s car broke down. Considering my dad has been a stay at home dad he has not the funds to replace his car. I humbly ask that you help me raise money for both my father and my
brothers sake. I’d like to help my family. I’d like to help them move back to Florida, find a new home, and help them with a car until my dad can help himself again. And in turn my dad can help Sebastian again. Taking care of Sebastian is a life long journey as he will always need to be cared for. Please help with whatever you can my family and I so greatly appreciate it.
