Help Seasweepers Turn the Tide on Ocean Plastic Pollution

Did you know that almost all plastics collected from beach and ocean clean-ups are sent directly to landfill?

In addition to the devastating environmental effects, this failure costs the global economy almost $3 trillion dollars every year. Even when we do pull plastics from marine ecosystems & waterways, traditional recycling facilities do not have the infrastructure to clean, recycle, and reuse them, so they end up immediately burned or buried.

SeaSweepers is going to change this, but we need your help.

We are working to build the first marine plastic recycling facility in the United States, solely dedicated to the cleaning, recycling, and reusing at least 20,000 tons of ocean plastics per year.

We also are working to build insight and accountability systems through our first of its kind plastics identifying and tracking app called re:Trace™.

Your contribution will go directly into helping us prove that this is all possible.

We need your support for our “Project SeaCycle”, a real-world demo showing how ocean plastics have tangible value and potential beyond incineration or landfill. Project SeaCycle proves that marine plastic pollution can have a long-lasting new life as park benches, playgrounds, and building materials for communities to enjoy for generations to come.

We’ve already gotten started. Through our incredible partnerships in Florida and The Bahamas, we have collected & warehoused 4,000 lbs. of “unrecycleable” marine plastics already pulled from the ocean.

On May 10th, 2025, we held our first community building cleaning event where Miami locals got hands-on experience with the revolutionary journey these plastics are taking. Now, we need your help to finish the job and turn these plastics into long-lasting park benches that tell this transformative story for decades, and to keep them out of landfills & incinerators.
