Help Seasons Nursery Recover and Rebuild

Seasons Nursery has been a cherished part of the Bed Stuy community for years. Founded by Deborah Young, Seasons is more than just a nursery—it’s a space where neighbors connect, gardens grow, and community flourishes.

Recently, Seasons suffered a devastating theft that left them without essential tools, merchandise, and with multiple repairs to make. This comes at an especially difficult time, as they’re already facing the challenge of staying open while the property is at risk of being sold.

As an employee at Seasons and a neighbor to Deborah, I’ve seen firsthand the incredible heart and dedication she pours into our community. From lending a helping hand to offering gardening advice, Deborah is always there for her neighbors. Now, I’m hoping we can show up for her.

The funds raised will go toward:

• Replacing stolen tools like chainsaws and reciprocating saws

• Restocking stolen merchandise

• Repairs for the greenhouse and fencing

• A new cash register

• Hiring additional staff to help with cleanup and repairs
