My name is Sean, and for most of my life, I've worked hard to help others in any way I can. Seven months ago, everything changed when I lost my job due to serious health issues. I can’t work for more than an hour at a time without needing to rest for hours, and any physical activity leaves me completely exhausted. I tried to keep going, but eventually, I lost my job and used up all of my 401k savings. Because I couldn’t work, I wasn’t able to get unemployment, and things quickly became overwhelming.

In January, I was told I had two weeks to leave the house I was renting. The stress and exhaustion landed me in the ER and ICU. Thankfully, friends helped me pack and move, but now I’m three months behind on bills and living with my mom, who is on a fixed income. She’s doing her best to help, but it’s not enough for both of us. I’ve applied for disability services, but it will take at least six months to start, and I’m still trying to figure out how to get the medical help I need.

I’m asking for help to cover past due bills and future expenses for both myself and my mom until disability support begins. My ER and ICU costs were covered, but I don’t have medical coverage for future needs until government assistance starts. Any support will help us keep up with basic living expenses and avoid falling further behind. I would truly appreciate any help I can get. I’ve always tried to help others, and it’s hard for me to ask for help now. When I’m able, I promise to pay it forward and help others as I have in the past. Any assistance is deeply appreciated.
