https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZP8k8aDnF/Sean Stutson’s life changed forever nearly two years ago when he fell 50 feet while hiking at Pulpit Rock in Colorado. Once an Air Force Firefighter with a passion for the outdoors, Sean’s “boots on the ground” spirit has been tested in ways few can imagine. The accident left him with a spinal cord injury, and while he’s made progress—now able to walk short distances with braces and a walker—he faces daily challenges, including severe nerve pain and the need for a wheelchair for all activities.
Despite these obstacles, Sean’s resilience, humor, and tenacity have been unwavering. He attends weekly therapy at the VA hospital and continues to push for improvement, supported by his brothers, family, and friends. However, the reality is that his mobility is limited, and he’s had to give up his firefighting career and many of his future dreams. One of Sean’s greatest wishes is to reconnect with nature and the outdoors he loves. To help make this possible, we’re raising funds for a side by side and trailer, which would allow Sean to safely enjoy outdoor adventures again and regain a sense of freedom and joy. He will also have adaptive driving hand paddles and equipment added to the side by side that will allow him to drive it independently.
Your support will help Sean adapt to his new reality and continue his journey with the same determination that has carried him this far. Every contribution brings him closer to experiencing the outdoors in a way that honors his adventurous spirit and helps him heal, both physically and emotionally.
