This is Sean. If you are in St. Helen you probably have seen him riding his bike, or making your food at Beef-A-Roo. To our family Sean is more than a friend, he is our family. Sean like many of us has not had an easy life. Our struggles always make us stronger and more determined. Despite coping with a diagnosis of CMT that has done nothing but cause him pain and struggles with his leg since childhood, Sean has always worked and helped his community. Lately the pain has increased to the point where just normal day living was unbearable. Thankfully, Sean agreed to seek medical attention and unforunatley the only answer was he lost his leg, to save his life.

It's a new day though, and Sean is hopeful for a pain free future learning to move without his leg and the challenges that faces. He is hopeful and eager to have a better quality of life. In the meantime, we know life's expenses keep acculamting, it doesn't stop for emergencies or illness.

Our goal is to set Sean up with the funds to provide a little cushion when he gets home. To help with a method of transportation ( his bike will not be a option ) , 6 months towards rent, or towards medical bills,or funds towards a prosthetic leg hopes so he can walk again in the near future. Whatever his need is, a small start to help in the right direction, and it will keep his spirit high and the drive to keep moving forward strong.

If your asking why should I help? Well because Sean is kind, helpful and a valued community member. He could be seen voluteering at school book fairs, Santa's Secret Workshop, or handing out Candy at Trunk or Treat. He has no children here, just a love for our future adults. We want to thank people like that because that is what our little town does. And even though he isn't asking, I am and so is my family because he as a special place in our hearts, and we are so thankful he is still with us.
