Help Sean Reach Philly for Critical Care

Sean has been accepted into a CAR-T clinical trial at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and, while we are so grateful, it means uprooting our lives and facing a lot of new challenges.

We will have to travel to Philadelphia for a few days next week for T-cell extraction, etc. Once the modified cells are ready, we will then have to spend 5-6 weeks in Philadelphia for infusion, monitoring, etc. Sean will also have to travel to Philadelphia for doctor’s appointments every 3 months for the next year.

As you can imagine, the costs of travel, temporary housing, meals, time away from work, etc. will quickly add up. There are also the regular monthly bills here in Florida that will need to be taken care of while we’re away, and it’s a bit overwhelming.
