Sean Paul Cruz-My work truck has been stolen:(
Dear Community,
My work truck was stolen on February 3rd, 2021 in Oakland, CA.The police report number is Oakland Police Department RD# 21-005530 oaklandca.gov/departments/police records section.
I did not have theft insurance as I purchased a 2001 f350 with 195000 miles, I only had liability.
I had no idea anyone would ever steal my flatbed work truck. It does not seem the kind of vehicle someone would want. Being here in Oakland only to help my friend move, I have come to find out that these particular trucks are a hot item in these parts. My truck was properly parked and locked, it even had the lock bar across the steering wheel. My truck was stolen between 6 and 730 in the evening!
I am so disappointed because I worked so hard to earn this truck and went all the way Florida to purchase it. I wanted a flatbed because it would help me to do more things with the work I do. Working on farms, hauling, building and being of service to help with friends building/art projects etc.
On a journeyman’s income I am hardly in a position to replace the truck. Which is why I am asking for assistance. I have work available, but I need a truck to do it. So if you’re reading this and want to help a good person continue to do god please consider donating to my cause.
Any and all levels of donations are very much appreciated.
I will keep all donors posted of my process in making the new purchase.
I am only asking what I paid for my truck and only wish to replace it.
If anyone has a comparable truck for donation please let me know.
I haul tools and heavy equipment and need a truck.
My truck that was stolen is the one in the photo
