Help Sean Olcott in his fight to beat cancer
Donation protected
Sean Olcott is a 53 year old man who has a great sense of humor . He loves his 3 children, his family & friends and his girlfriend, Kim. He loves to golf , play pool and is an avid reader who has stored away a lifetime of useful and useless facts.
In June of this year Sean was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. He has since undergone an operation to remove the tumor in his throat, which was located at the top of his stomach. During the operation his esophagus and stomach had to be removed. We are happy to report the procedure was successful however there was a complication that required 2 additional admissions to Sloan to repair and has set him back in his recovery.
Currently he is healing from the original surgery but additional procedures will need to be done for him to be able to return to his pre-cancer self and go home.
As a Local 3 IBEW member he has great medical insurance but his inability to work is seriously impacting his ability to keep up with everyday expenses. As the father of three his financial responsibilities are mounting with no end in sight. He has blown through savings and with no back to work date pending , his financial survival is now causing great hardship. In addition to keeping up with bills the funds will be used to buy a bed suitable for him to sleep in as he will now and forever have to sleep with his head elevated above 45 degrees.
I would like to say thank you in advance for your prayers and any help you can send.
