Help Sean & Kathleen with medical and financial challenges.

Hi everyone, my name is Sean McMillin and this GoFundMe is for myself (32) and my wife Kathleen (29). We’ve been married for 7 years and have enormous love for each other and have been there for each other through very difficult times. Some of our favorite things to do are go to the movies, play video games, go to cool parks and spend time with family.

Over the past year Kathleen has been experiencing weakening muscles in her legs and arms that have made her unable to walk very well without a walker and it becoming difficult for her to use her hands as well. Over time she will most likely lose the ability to do even more things. While she hasn’t had an official diagnosis yet, several doctors she’s seen have expressed concern that she might have ALS. For those unfamiliar with ALS, it is a degenerative disease that targets the muscles and makes them break down over time. Unfortunately, it is difficult to diagnose, and without an official diagnosis, the amount of financial assistance she can get is very limited.

In the meantime, we have become backed up on our car, water, and electric bills and are in dire need of help. Our overall income is not enough to keep our lights on and keep up with our other bills. Meeting our goal would mean keeping our head above water and beginning the process of finding a more affordable place to live while we figure out Kathleen’s medical situation.
