My name is Nicole Heicklen, and I am creating this campaign for my incredible older brother, Sean. On September 13th, 2025, Sean suffered a severe diving accident. This terrifying event resulted in an open fracture on his head and C5-C7 vertebrae fractures in his entire neck. He was airlifted to a nearby hospital and immediately underwent intensive surgery to avoid the risk of paralysis while spending several days in the ICU. Sean is a fighter, but he has a long and expensive road ahead. We are desperately trying to relieve his financial burden so he can focus 100% on his recovery.

The financial crisis this has created is especially difficult for our mother. She is a single parent who has worked tirelessly to provide for us, even making the huge sacrifice of supporting me through college overseas.

This unexpected crisis has forced her to take unpaid time off work to be at the hospital, completely draining the family's modest savings. The medical bills, from the ICU stay to the surgery, are staggering, and the cost of necessary rehabilitation is just beginning.

Sean is truly kind, thoughtful, and genuine person who deserves a chance to heal without this stress. He is an excellent cook, a passionate photographer, and my favorite person to reminisce with about our childhood love for Godzilla movies. We need your help to get him back to the life he loves.
