Our family is asking for continued support for Sean, who was involved in a horrific work accident.
Sean is 34 years old and works in tree cutting and removal. Over the years, he has worked his way up from a beginner in the field to an expert climber and crew leader. He takes great pride in maintaining our town and surrounding areas, doing his work with passion, skill, and precision. His work quite literally helps shape and care for the environment and community around us.
While working, Sean fell approximately 20 feet from a tree and was nearly crushed beneath it. By the grace of God, he survived, and we are beyond grateful that he is still with us.
Sean suffered extremely serious injuries, including a broken pelvis, a cracked skull, and multiple other fractures. He has since undergone pelvic reconstruction surgery and is now home, but his journey is far from over.
Coming home has been a meaningful milestone, but it also begins a new chapter in Sean’s journey—one that requires continued strength, patience, and support as he works through rehabilitation and adapts to daily life. He is currently wheelchair-bound and is relearning how to function day-to-day, working toward regaining independence and strength. He is not yet able to bear weight on either leg and faces a long and challenging road of recovery ahead.
Because of the severity of his injuries, Sean is unable to work and will be for the foreseeable future. We are hoping to raise enough to help cover the ongoing costs of his recovery, including rehabilitation, medical care, and essential household expenses such as rent, utilities, and necessary modifications to make his home more accessible during this time.
We are incredibly grateful for the love and support that has already been shown—through donations, shares, and prayers. It truly means more than we can put into words.
If you are able to contribute, any amount makes a difference. And if you’re not in a position to donate, simply sharing this fundraiser helps more than you know.
Thank you for continuing to stand with Sean as he takes on the hardest part of this journey.
Important note: The “tip” shown at checkout is completely optional and goes to GoFundMe, not to Sean’s fundraiser. You do not need to leave a tip in order to donate — you can simply edit that amount to $0 before submitting your donation.
If you accidentally included a tip, you can also go through the GoFundMe website and request a refund for that amount.
