Help Sean Get Back on His Feet After a Tragic Accident
Donation protected
On October 1st, 2024, our world was turned upside down. My son, Sean Curran, was sitting in the back seat of a car when it was involved in a devastating accident. He sustained 12 broken ribs, and a shattered sternum, and had to undergo surgery. The police told us something I can hardly bear to think about, if Sean had been in the front seat, he wouldn’t be here with us today.
While we're deeply grateful that Sean is alive, the road ahead is going to be incredibly tough. He's in so much pain, both physically and emotionally, and the recovery process will be long. Sean is working with an injury lawyer, and we hope that in time, this will provide some relief. But settlements can take over a year, and right now, Sean can’t work. His injuries have taken that option away from him for the foreseeable future.
Sean’s boss has been nothing short of incredible, offering so much support, but no matter how much kindness surrounds us, the reality is that Sean still has bills to pay, and a life to sustain. The goal we’ve set is just enough to cover the bare essentials: rent, food, and basic living expenses for a year. It’s an amount that will give Sean a chance to focus on healing without the crushing worry of financial survival.
If you can help, in any way, it would mean the world to us. Thank you for reading our story, and for keeping Sean in your thoughts during this unimaginably hard time.
Sean's current status:
Sean was in the ICU, but we’re relieved to share that he’s now been moved to a regular hospital room at Sacred Heart in Spokane, Washington. This is definitely progress, but he still has a long recovery ahead. If you're in the area and able to visit, he’d appreciate the company and support as he continues to heal.
Thank you again for your support. Please share if possible.
