Help Sean Fight Multiple Myeloma and Leukemia

I am reaching out to our village to help support my best friend’s dad, Sean and her family. They would never in a million years ask for money, and I know it can be hard to ask for this kind of support but I know in certain ways this is all we can do to support during this incredibly dark time. Sean has spent so much of his life taking care of his people, and I am praying we can help him in the same way he has for others.

We are reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your support for an amazing dad and grandpa, Sean (Seanzzy), who is currently fighting a fierce battle against multiple myeloma, leukemia, and the devastating toll cancer has taken on his body.

Over the past months his health has rapidly deteriorated. His cancer has spread aggressively, and in addition to his diagnosis, he’s faced multiple fractures, including two broken ribs, as his bones continue to weaken. Tumors have grown throughout his body, with the latest one causing severe complications—he lost feeling and mobility in his lower body.

Despite this has remained a trooper. He recently underwent surgery to address the tumor in his back, and while there is hope that he may regain some mobility, the cancer itself is still the most immediate concern. He’s now waiting on a room to become available in a California Hospital to receive advanced treatment that isn’t available in our area.

This fight is far from over, and we know that it will take everything he has to continue pushing forward. However, in addition to the physical and emotional toll we can tell he is deeply concerned about the financial strain this journey is placing on his family. Medical bills are piling up, and the costs of travel, treatment, and care are overwhelming. This financial burden is taking away from his ability to fully focus on healing and recovery, which is why we’re asking for your help.

We’re hoping to ease some of this burden by coming together as a village to provide financial support, so Sean can focus all his energy on fighting this battle so he can enjoy his beautiful wife, kiddos, and baby grandkids for many more years. He is ready to fight the fight, and although in IMMENSE pain, more now than ever, continues to be hopeful and express humor, which we love to see. This has been such a heavy time on my friend and her family. Every donation will go directly to his medical expenses, treatment, and the care he needs to keep fighting.
