Hello, my name is Sean. I am currently facing my third session of cancer. It started in my esophagus, moved into my spine, and now it’s in my neck. For some reason, it seems to bounce around in me, but I am fighting it hard and I am determined to win this fight. I would be the last person to ask for help, but this journey has carried on for so long that the little money I get from disability just doesn’t cover the bills anymore. Every month, it’s a struggle to get by, and I find myself borrowing and asking for help just to make ends meet.

My insurance has changed again, and now I have to pay 20% of my procedures, which has made things even more difficult. My significant other has been by my side through it all, but I can see how draining this has been for both of us. We do nothing, go nowhere, and only treat ourselves to a meal out once in a blue moon. I’m only asking for help because I truly need it to keep my household going for as long as I can.
