Sean’s Story
God never promised the journey would be easy—but He promised to never leave us.
My son Sean was born with Neurofibromatosis Type 1, and from the very beginning, his life has been filled with challenges. Yet through it all, Sean has remained strong, faithful, and full of a quiet courage that inspires me every single day.
In 2022, our lives changed in an instant. Sean became septic and lost all mobility. Since then, he has endured constant, daily pain as tumors continue to grow throughout his body. As a mother, there is nothing harder than watching your child suffer and not being able to take that pain away.
Today, Sean is unable to enjoy the simple things many of us take for granted. Getting to appointments or even leaving the house is a struggle. We rely on medical and public transportation that often isn’t dependable or comfortable for his condition. Our small townhome is not wheelchair accessible, making daily life even more difficult. I’ve saved up, but everyday life has exhausted all my efforts.
I am his full-time caregiver, and I trust God in every step—but I also know He places people in our lives to help carry burdens we cannot carry alone.
We are asking for help to raise funds for a handicap-accessible vehicle and a safe, suitable home for Sean. These are not wants—they are needs that would give him comfort, dignity, and a chance to experience life beyond his pain.
If God places it on your heart to give, pray, or share Sean’s story, we would be forever grateful. Every act of kindness brings us one step closer to giving Sean the quality of life he deserves.
As his mother, I will never stop fighting for him—and I believe, through faith and community, better days are ahead.
