Greetings! My name is Sean Beckner-Carmitchel. I’m a multimedia freelance journalist, who is currently on the mend. I suffered fractured ribs during a protest on August 8, 2025. An LAPD officer forced his baton directly into my side, and I’ve been trying to get on the mend since.

Since then, I’ve been suffering pain and unable to get work finished. Though I’m hoping to return soon, the bills keep stacking up.

While I'm hoping to return to work soon, I could use some assistance with medical bills, food, and about two weeks of inability to work. Because I’m a freelance journalist, I don’t have any income if I’m not able to work.
