Help Sean and our family

My name is Gianna and this is my little brother Sean. This incredible warrior is on his 5th bout of stage 4 neuroblastoma. He has successful fought it four times in the last 8 years but unfortunately it keeps returning.

 

The most recent relapse was in October and since then Japanese and American doctors have been coordinating his treatment to get him stable enough to safely return to the states during a pandemic. Unfortunately we did not have the response to treatment we were hoping for and now it has become

time critical and our last hope.

 

My parents are educators assigned to Yokota Air Base. They have managed to successfully work and provide for our family of 6 through it all and have never let on the stress of finances but I definitely know it is there.

 

I am hoping to get some help for my parents to help ease some of the financial burden so they can get some relief. They are not ones to ask for financial help so I am doing it on their behalf. This has been emotionally hard for all of us and relieving some of the stress would allow us to concentrate on our family. Because of Sean’s current condition he has to be medically evacuated at a cost of nearly 6 figures. He has been hospitalized since March 15th as he requires round the clock monitoring. The Japanese doctors have said there are no further treatment options available in Japan and so getting him back to the states is truly a matter of life and death. Because of the state of his kidneys he has to continue to be on an iv in transit and will require a doctor and a nurse to escort him. While insurance will cover some of it, they have had to come up with all the money up front. Any help you feel you could give would be extremely appreciated. It would go towards medical bills they are currently paying as well as future medical bills. It would also help our family with travel back and forth since my brother will have to remain in the states indefinitely. Thank you for support of our family. We will be forever grateful.
