Hello! I’m Alexey and I am in need of help raising money for my best buddy, Scruffy. Scruffy has Feline Urinary Tract Disease (FLUTD) and this most recent trip to the vet was due to him being fully blocked up in his urinary tract. Blocking in cats can come in the form of urinary crystals or stones that get stuck in his urinary tract, making him unable to pee. This can be fatal in cats, but luckily I was able to get him to the vet before any major damage happened. This is Scruffy’s third time getting blocked up, and with being blocked up, he needs to be hospitalized for 36-72 hours. Hospitalization includes him getting pain medication, anti inflammatory medication, a catheter and other materials needed to help him get unblocked and healthy again.

I’ve had Scruffy for 8 years, and he is the best buddy I could have asked for. I am so lucky to have raised him since he was a kitten. Scruffy and I have gone through a lot throughout his life and I would love for him to keep living life in his stinkiest ways. He is sweet, cuddly, a diva, and the funniest cat I get the pleasure of spending my days with. Unfortunately with the rising costs of vet care (and everything else) and being the sole provider of my household, vet expenses are going to weigh on me, and I could use all the help I can get.

The money raised will be going towards paying for his medical expenses, and any extra will go towards saving for Perineal urethrostomy (PU) surgery, which is a procedure done on male cats to prevent further obstruction in his urinary tract. This surgery is the ultimate goal for me so I can get Scruffy the help he needs to keep living a long, pain free life.
