Scout the therapy dog
Donation protected
After 7 years of running around and helping children and adults with Autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities. Scout now needs our support.
Scout is in need of surgery to stabilize her knees. Both her CCL ( ACL equivalent) is completely ruptured. And her meniscus’ are clicking.
First we thought it was just her right knee, now we know it’s the left as well. Fortunately we were able to fix her right knee, now it’s time for her left knee.
Scout gives you a “smile” upon meeting you. She instinctively knows the level of support you need. She’s happy to run around with you or just lay quietly at your feet. You can paint her fur, give her a bath or take her swimming with you.
One day at the beach last year, she curled up next to a little boy she never met before. His mom told me he doesn’t speak and is often lonely. When he met Scout, he immediately perked up and played with her. Ironically his name was Scout! Magic moments like this are so precious and what we live for.
Please help Scout return to what she loves to do the most.
If we can spread the word and get a lot of people, to donate just a little bit of money, we can make this happen.
With a grateful heart, thank you.
