Scotty has always been the first to show up when someone—or some animal—needs help. Whether it’s offering a listening ear, providing necessities to those in need, or rescuing animals that have been abused or abandoned, Scotty gives from the heart. She is an animal advocate who grooms pets for families who can’t afford it and helps cover veterinary care for injured pets. Her kindness has touched so many lives, both human and animal alike.

Now, Scotty is facing a challenge of her own. She will soon be undergoing surgery, and during her recovery, she won’t be able to groom animals—the work that not only supports her financially but also allows her to continue helping animals in need. Because grooming is physically demanding, her doctor expects a recovery period where working simply won’t be possible. This means lost income at the same time medical and living expenses continue to add up.

This is not a request Scotty would ever make for herself, but as her friends, we want to lift the financial burden so she can focus on healing. We’re hoping to raise funds to help cover her medical expenses, basic living costs during recovery, and support her while she is unable to work.
