Help Scotty fight Brain Cancer
Donation protected
Scott Henthorn, my brother-in-law was diagnosed with Melanoma in Oct 2017. In May 2018 Amy rushed him to the ER in Zanesville, Ohio where the scanned showed 3 large tumors on his brain. He was rushed to the James Cancer Center where he had 2 emergency brain surgeries within days of each other to remove tumors on his brain. He spent 14 days in ICU and his diagnosis is Metastases Melanoma of the brain. He has small popcorn tumors scattered throughout his brain and growing. Upon his follow up Appt. a treatment plan is being formed because of the multiple other tumors (Stage 4). Immuno Therapy has been adviced but is not covered by most insurance companies($5,000 just to test the tumor for the molecule needed) and the threat of Seizures they advise for him to not be left alone. He can't drive, climb or lift anything heavy without threat of seizures. My sister, Amy Wetmore Henthorn has decided to stay home and care for him but they need our help to be able to do that and get the treatment he needs. They cannot live on disability alone with the cost of traveling 2 1/2 hrs. to Columbus for treatment and paying monthly expenses. Your support would mean the world to them.
