edit: Scott Rarrieck peacefully went home to be with his parents on December 19th. His wife and children were by his side, held his hand, and gave him words of comfort as he passed.

On December 1st my father Scott Rarrieck was taken to the hospital and ended up in the ICU. He has battled cancer for 2.5 years, during that time he has received both immunotherapy and chemotherapy. His recent round of chemo has been especially hard on him, and it put a great deal of strain on his body. Unfortunately his time in the ICU has not been easy. He has been placed on the ventilator and he is receiving extreme life saving care, but his body is very tired and under a lot of strain. He is at the limits of what medicine can do, and he is not expected to recover from this.

During his stay at the ICU, my mother has stayed with him and has taken time off work to be by his side. I am creating this in hopes to take some financial burden off of my family and to help take care of my mother and my disabled brother while my family goes through this.
