Hi, my name is Scottie and I served in the Marine Corps, and am now no longer on active duty. When I first left the marines I found it very difficult to go back to living a normal life, at the time I did not realize I had PTSD and other mental illnesses and that was why I felt that way. I was then finally diagnosed with, depression, anxiety, and PTSD all of which came from my time in the marines. As a veteran with PSTD, I find it very hard to live a normal life every day and have been advised that a service dog may help me. This fundraiser is to raise money to help me purchase a service dog that is already trained, or to purchase a dog that will go through training with me and be tailored to my individual needs.
