Help With Final Care Home Hospice For Mom (Mama Frances)

My name is Kathy and my husband is Scott and we take care of both our elderly mothers.

This fundraiser is for his mom,(I call her Mama Frances) throughout her life she has battled Heart failure, a Brain aneurysm that had to be cut out, Cancer of the Uterus and Breast Cancer, She has beat all of it she's a tough woman who no matter what has always been full of life laughing and smiling only now her laugh and smile are no longer here .They were taking away when she was diagnosed with COPD and now Lung Cancer. Her body is too tired she can't fight this one.She will be 75 years old at the end of May 2025. WE HOPE!

Nov 2024 she was put on Home Hospice.The past few weeks she has been declining in health and the past couple of weeks have struggled to eat and actually keep it down without throwing up, causing her to lose alot of weight fast. Hospice is currently putting her on A Morphine Based Medicine She will need someone with her round the clock. and Scott needs to be with her and needs to be able to give her that Medicine any hour she needs it so she won't be in any pain.

Scott is the only one with an income (I can no longer work due to my own health issues.) he needs to take his medical leave at work to be there and care for his mom round the clock. But unfortunately the medical leave comes with NO PAY from any source or program his work has they just don't do that and we don't have any savings, we cannot get a loan or borrow any money from anyone not even his family because for one its not being offered concerning this situation and when asked they say "Can't".

Scott And I don't have any money extra for anything we struggle financially. We have tried every option we can think of to get the money that is needed so he can take his medical leave to go be with her fulltime in her final care days coming. (we still have bills to pay while he's on medical leave for her and get things for her when needed)This GoFundMe is the last resort. (Prayers)
