Sadly Scott has lost this battle and we have lost a husband, father, son, brother and friend. Any donations will now be used to help with final costs and funeral arrangements.

Hello family and friends! My name is Nicky and I am raising funds to help my brother-in-law Scott Van Horn and his family. Scott is married to Kristi and they have a large family with two teenagers still in the home.

Last May started a nightmare of constant medical emergencies and hospital runs that has progressively gotten worse. He has been tested for EVERYTHING! He has had numerous MRIs, lumbar punctures, blood tests, and pathologies. Most recently, he had a brain biopsy (results pending). After the procedure, late at night, Scott aspirated and had to be coded and intubated and is now moved to the ICU. The hospital he is at is 2 1/2 hours from their home. Kristi has been by his side the whole time. Their teenagers have been at the hospital or staying at a hotel close by. Their other children have been traveling from Kansas to OKC to visit and support.

Please pray for Scott's full recovery. Pray for answers to what is going on. Please consider sending some financial support as hotels, food, gas, and other needs are depleting their finances significantly.

***UPDATE ***

We received the pathology report back. Unfortunately the news is not what we were hoping for. Scott has an aggressive form of lymphoma. The doctors will begin treating that very soon. Scott still has not woke up. His family would love to see his eyes again and talk to him again. Please continue to pray for healing. Pray for provision for his family while he is being treated far from home. Pray for wisdom for his medical team.
