My dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters.
If you don’t know well now you do. About a 1/4 mile from my home. I got into a collision on 05/20/25 with a deer on my CBR1100 Blackbird in the hill country.
I ride that road frequently and I am always looking!!
That deer should not have been there!!
Those who know me know that I am a very prideful person.
However my life changed over night & in an instant.
This impact was devastating.
Miraculously, I did survived. But the extent of my injuries are and will be physically and life-altering…
I was placed in a medically induced coma and then sent to ICU.
Thanks to the power of prayer, & incredible doctors, along with my unbreakable spirit, I am awake.
After 34 days in the hospital, then LTAC rehabilitation center in round rock which I discharge here at the end of the month to go to a regular rehabilitation center in south Austin… visitors mean a lot to me!! :)
My road to recovery, has only just began.
I am unable to work or walk, and will require long-term care, mobility support, medical equipment, and along with a new Pacemaker this Tuesday I believe which is due to a different diagnoses when I was 17 years old…
My medical bills are already overwhelming even with insurance, & the expenses are growing daily!! :(
For those who know of me, you know I am:
