I am writing this Go Fund Me for Scott Rosga to help him get financially secure after losing his wife, Aritizia, four years ago.

Scott has served this community as the high school Baseball Coach in Big Pine for 25 years. He was on the Little League Board of Directors and also coached Little League. He and his wife, Aritzia, raised their 3 children in our valley.

Scott has suffered some significant financial setbacks over the last 4 years after losing his beloved Aritzia to a lengthy battle with cancer. Scott suffers from an incurable, but treatable, form of Leukemia and has complications from a neck and back surgery. In June, he suffered a mini stroke and now has dizziness and balance issues that plague him daily. Recently his neurologist has ordered a CT scan to investigate a spot found on Scott’s brain. Scott is no longer able to work, but he fights to keep and maintain his home that is in need of plumbing and other functional repairs. He has reached out for any help that is available to him from many agencies and has managed to get lower rates for his phone, utilities and internet expenses. Currently he is awaiting approval of a loan modification to save his mortgage. He is awaiting news about some assistance from the Leukemia Society to help him afford his medication expenses and hoping for other medical assistance he has requested. All 3 of his children have part-time jobs and are helping with the expenses, but he is over his head right now as these expenses have collected. Scott needs a boost to get him back on his feet. Once he clears up this existing situation, he can handle his monthly expenses on his own.
