My name is Scott, and I never imagined I’d be in this position. Just as I started a new job, I experienced a sudden retinal detachment in my right eye. It happened on my second day, and it required major surgery right away. I have type 2 diabetes, which made the situation even more complicated. To make matters worse, my health insurance ended at midnight on Friday the 27th, leaving me with no coverage and no income. My rent is due on March 14th, and I have no money to cover it or my utilities. While my insurance covered most of the surgery, I’m left with a large deductible and mounting bills.

I’m reaching out because I need help to get through this incredibly tough time. If I can cover my rent, utilities, and the hospital deductible, I won’t have to worry about being evicted or falling behind on essential bills. Most importantly, it would allow me to focus on healing and recovering for the next month before I can return to work.
