Help Scott Rebuild and Graduate

Hi, I'm Scott (and my delightful wife, Alison, who is the coolest human ever, is absolutely not writing this for me at all. Nope. Would never happen.) and I am reaching out to my community to help me rebuild after the Eaton Canyon fire destroyed my house, my art, and the last four years of my work.

I am entering my last semester at ArtCenter in Pasadena and have been living in California for the past four years as I've worked towards this goal. My little bungalow that burned to the ground held all the work I've done, along with furniture, clothing, musical instruments, books (and books and books and books), kitchen things... well, it's really all just gone.

I don't know when/if/how much I will get from insurance. I do know that I have to immediately find new short-term housing, furnished, and that I have to immediately replace some of my technology so I can get to my mythical graduation.

So here I am, asking for your help so I can finish my degree and come back to my amazing and beautiful and talented and smart family (okay, maybe she is writing SOME of this) and we can move forward in our lives.

And since GoFundMe needs some specifics, here is the breakdown:

1. Who you are: I'm Scott. I'm a dad, a husband, a veteran, and a senior at the ArtCenter College of Design.

2. Where you're from: originally I'm from Virginia, but I've been in the Pasadena area the past four years.

3. Your relationship to the parties you're raising funds for: I'm raising funds for myself.

4. How the funds will be spent (be specific as possible): the funds will be spent on short term housing and replacing my computer, my work tablet, and other essential items I need for school.
