Help Scott Perry Fight Cancer (#scottystrong)

My name is Katrina Krueger and I'm fundraising for Scott Perry. I've had the pleasure of knowing Scott and Kevin for over twenty years. 

Recently Scott was diagnosed with cancer on his pancreas and liver. Fortunately, he does not have pancreatic cancer and the type of cancer that he does have was detected early enough that it can be treated with surgery and/or radiation. Scott's healthcare team is working with him to determine the best course of action. It will come as no surprise to his friends and family that Scott is very positive and optimistic that his cancer will successfully be treated. He has tremendous faith in his physicians and entire team and is so appreciative of the excellent care that he is receiving.

Scott started his own business several years ago and it has grown into a successful enterprise. However, like many people, he does not have health insurance. There will be substantial medical bills and costs associated with time off work that Scott and Kevin are not in a position to pay. Your donation of any size is greatly appreciated. 100% of all donations (minus a 2.9% processing fee) will go directly to Scott regardless of whether the financial goal is met. Tipping is not necessary and can be changed to zero. This fundraiser is designed to relieve Scott and Kevin of the financial stress about medical bills and allow Scott to focus on his treatments and recovery. Whether or not you are in a position to make a monetary donation, please keep Scott in your prayers and add him to prayer chains. Scott’s faith is very much a part of his daily life and he strongly believes in the power of prayer.

Many of us have found a lifetime friend in Scott. He is a constant source of support, a shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen, and a wise soul who so freely gives of himself. He would never ask for help, but he needs our help now. All funds raised through this campaign will be deposited directly into Scott’s account set up just for this purpose and will be used exclusively for expenses associated with his cancer treatment. Should there be money that is not used, Scott will be establishing a grant that will help another individual who finds themselves in a similar situation.
