Help Scott Neeley Recover from Brain Injury
Donation protected
If you have had the pleasure of meeting my dad, you knew instantly you had a friend. Scott Neeley is a one in a million man. He is dedicated to his faith, his family, and currently his health, which is at risk.
Scott took a very bad fall which left him unconscious at the end September. Slowly, he began to decline until his body physically gave out and he could no longer use his entire left side of his body. His brain had been injured by the fall and my angel mother, Jeanine who has been by his side since age 15, took him to Hoag hospital in Newport Beach CA. That was on September 25.
His MRI detected 2 subdural hematomas and required not 1 but 2 emergency brain surgeries. We are so grateful for qualified staff and talented doctors who urgently helped him.
He has requested prayers, hugs, and of course encouragement as he faces a monumental challenge to heal. We are so appreciative for the many friends and family who have called and offered their love, consistently asking "How Can We Help?" Well, this is where we need help. Scott's healing will take months, and we need the funds to help support that with specific in home 24/7 care, which as you can imagine is not easy or affordable. ANY donation or share of this account is deeply appreciated.
Scott has been the light in every room, the vibrant laugh in every party, and the friend you see with a smile and a hug every time. He needs us all now more than ever. Thank you for loving my dad now, then, and always. We are all so lucky to have a friend like you.

Update:
We are so thankful for the love and donations from so many of you. Thank you thank you thank you. Please continue to share so we can have the 24/7 in home care that Scott will need when he gets home.
He is still in the hospital working on PT and OT to slowly regain his strength back. He is walking slowly with assistance and able to speak a little bit more each day. You can see some videos on Scott-Jeanine Neeley's facebook page.
We want to bring my dad home so he can heal and continue to improve.
