#Mozzarstrong! Help Scott Mozzar Fight his Fight!

Hi, I am Scott's sister Beth.  Scott recently found out he has oral cancer and will be facing the toughest journey of his life, this Monday, beginning with a 10-hour surgery to remove part of his tongue and replace it with muscle and veins from his arm.   He’ll have a two-week hospital stay, 4 of those days in ICU with a tracheotomy. Following the surgery, he’ll endure 6 weeks of radiation, speech therapy and will need to learn how to speak and swallow again.

He’s an incredible brother, father, uncle, Poppi, and friend.  For Scott, his unequivocal work ethic, inherited from our dad, makes it very hard for him to comprehend he will not be able to work and provide for his family.

Anyone knowing Scott is acutely aware of his loyalty to others and his great big heart.  He would do anything for any one of us! Those who know him also know he’s proud and finds it very hard to ask for help.  Even the strongest need help at times.
