On June 27th, Scott and Brittany Linton were having a regular Friday night when, without warning, Scott became unresponsive. Brittany called 911 and began CPR. When paramedics arrived, Scott was in an abnormal heart rhythm causing sudden cardiac arrest. The paramedics were able to stabilize Scott, and he was taken to DMC Huron Valley Hospital.
Fast forward 11 days and Scott is making huge leaps in progress. Miraculously he is off the ventilator, out of the ICU, awake, and oriented. Each day he is working to heal. Brittany has been by his side day and night since the 27th. Today they were able to go home to continue his recovery.
It is still too early to know what Scott’s rehabilitation timeline will look like or how long it will be before things feel more normal to his family. Scott is one of the kindest and most hardworking people I know. I have faith that he will get stronger each day.
Please consider donating to help the Linton Family with medical costs and to help ease their financial burden while they navigate the next weeks/months. If you are unable to donate, any prayers and positive thoughts are also appreciated.
I will try to post updates here. Brittany is still focusing her energy on Scott. If you have messages of support for Brittany and Scott, please post below. If you have questions, you can also message me (Erika Leone).
Thank you for your support.
