Help Scott Gibson Beat Cancer!

Hi! I'm Rob Erekson. I'm creating this GoFundMe to help my amazing brother Scott Gibson, his wife, and their kids in his battle with cancer.

An Introduction

Scott has been married to my sister Stacie and in my life for nearly 2/3 of my entire life. A father of Samantha, Squire, Alora, Scarlett, and Scotlyn. A father-in-law to Eli. A son to Tina. A brother-in-law to Beckie, Rob, Ryan, and Dalyn. A son-in-law to Phil and Teri. An uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. A friend to everybody whom he meets.

The Discovery

Scott went to the ER in mid-October with stomach pains and was sent home with painkillers. When the pain persisted and got worse, he again visited the hospital, where the doctors discovered tumors on his colon and liver. Tissue samples were taken, and biopsies were ordered. He received the biopsy results a week later: Non-Hodginks Lymphoma. Cancer.

A PET scan and additional testing have been performed, and we're all currently waiting for Scott's first appointment with an oncologist to find out the exact severity of his cancer and what the future holds for treatment. Scott is constantly in pain from the tumors, making it difficult to lie down and sleep, and he is overheated and sweats nearly non-stop.
