Dear Friends; thank you; for having made it possible with your GoFundMe contributions four years ago. Thanks to you I was able to attend the ROPIOA - Owatonna 100th Anniversary Reunion in 2021, and it was epic. Your generosity was then and is still very much remembered and appreciated.

I’ve got a new question for you, but not limited to those who helped make it possible for me in 2021: Any chance you might help me now? Can you help me get to the upcoming 2025 Reunion?

I need your help in order to buy roundtrip airline tickets from Argentina where I live, a rental car, and to have money for expenses.

I hope you will give it some thought. Even the smallest contribution can help create momentum and keep the ball rolling, and in 2021 the variety of amounts people donated was impressive.

I am eager to have another chance to see a great group of people, a happy and healthy portion of “everybody” in the camp family. That includes those who were able to attend in 2021 and of course those who were not able then, but hopefully have now decided there’s not a chance they’ll miss out on this one.

The camps are at the top of my list of the places I love in this world, which I imagine is true for you as well. Over the past 60 years I have spent many beautiful summers there, both at Owatonna and Family Camp, one among the youngest of campers in the early years, and much later on staff for several summers. My grandparents and parents and siblings and I (and now some nieces and nephews) were all fortunate to have grown up in the Christian Science Sunday School, and to have had that spectacular corner of the country that is "camp" – near Harrison, Maine, 04040 – as our proving ground in summertime.

Perhaps you can help me now, please... if you can, if you feel inspired – and I hope and pray we will have a chance to meet – or meet again – on the shores of Long Lake, in just a few short weeks.

Thank you to everyone who has played a part in my personal camp experience, and also to the many people I have yet to get to know, but who share with so many of us a lifelong love of camp.
