Help Scott Dibble Save His Food Truck Business
I would like to introduce you to my friend, Scott Dibble. Scott started an amazing food truck business 5 years ago called Phat Backs, LLC and the food is truly amazing. You can taste the love and passion he puts into every bite of his cuisine. His business has been booming all of that time, with businesses looking for him and begging him to serve their patrons and customers....until this year, 2024. Now, Scott is facing both personal and business financial ruin because of unforeseen circumstances and expenses that have arisen. Let me explain....
Scott has an F-250 pickup truck that he heavily relies on to pull his food trailer to gigs he is contracted to attend and serve up his wonderful BBQ food. He makes great money doing what he loves and he's always been asked to come back. However, his truck had a transmission issue that needed repair. With all the things that mechanically happened, one was he took it to a mechanic and this mechanic completely took Scott for a ride; neglecting several issues to fixing the transmission correctly as well as not doing necessary repairs correctly to its required level in order to continue to pull the 7,000 lb trailer to his jobs. This process took his truck out of commission for weeks in which Scott had to rent a truck, costing him over $800 a week in order to continue to do what he loves. After several weeks and thousands later, Scott finally got his truck back and he was getting back to normal except a couple of days later, it caught on fire. Because of this "repair" the mechanic did, the truck went down again needing wires to be replaced due to the damage and he had to rent a truck again at $800 a week for another 2 weeks. Scott spent tens of thousands between the mechanic, truck rentals, and down times and now he doesn't have enough money to support his family on the upcoming off season, October to April each year. That's 6 months!
So, I am taking to the internet to try to help my friend so he doesn't lose his home, vehicle, and his business. His BBQ is his true soulmate in the culinary world and all the food right down to the dry rubs and marinades used on the succulent meats is 100% homemade and his very own recipes. But because he's been unable to work due to the truck and other unforeseen expenses, he's not going to have the money to pay his bills, put food on the table for his family and he's in dire need of help. Scott has been trying to find ways to keep the business going but this close to the end of the season, the need for his services are dimming. Aside from using his entire savings, he's borrowed money from family and friends who can help to try to offset these unexpected expenses. . Of course this inflated economy only adds fuel to this fire and he needs your help.
The one most important reason he's fighting so hard to keep his business going is his son, Kenny. His son loves to help him with preparations and wants to work side by side with his dad in the food truck when he's old enough. So Scott can't just close his doors with his son counting on him to continue this business. Scott wants his son to inherit this business but he can't do it without your help.
The goal set is $5000.00 which would cover the truck rentals and the repairs on the truck as well as the expenses incurred over the season. I know the economy has been an ongoing struggle for everyone with paying your own bills and putting food on your own tables so anything you can give would be so very much appreciated. Your support will help Scott continue his business for years to come and secure the legacy he wants to leave for his son Kenny. Thanks for your help.
So an additional bit of info. This money will help his family get thru the winter months and get a good start for next year. His truck now running great, but this late in the season it's impossible to make up for lost time and money. So any help is much appreciated. As many know and some don't, his food sets a new standard in the industry. Anyone who has tried Phat Backs food can attest to its magnificent quality. But right now things are looking grim as bankruptcy may be best option in near future to save his family. Please show this family what myself and several others have repeatedly told them , that they are needed, loved , and we support small family owned businesses!
Remember even small donations of $10, $20, etc can add up and help!
Thank you for your time and reading this.
