Help Scott Carter Overcome Health Challenges

Donation protected
I'm reaching out with a heavy heart and a sense of urgency. The situation I find myself in is causing me great concern. If things continue down this path, I fear I may lose my pet insurance for my beloved and helpful service dogs. The costs associated with this coverage are already stretching my budget to its limits, and I simply cannot afford to let it lapse.

I understand that many of you may also be facing your own financial challenges, but I wanted to share with you the gravity of my situation. Due to ongoing health issues, I am grappling with significant medical expenses and limitations. These difficulties make it hard for me to take on additional financial burdens. even regular expense.

Despite these challenges, I'm determined to keep my expenses as low as possible. I've had to make tough choices, like opting for less expensive options whenever feasible.

One of my biggest concerns is my inability to afford certain essential items. This is where I hope I can appeal to your generosity once again. In the past, your support has made a significant difference, allowing me to acquire necessary tools that have proven invaluable. For instance, I recently had to purchase replacement trombones from a German manufacturer, which, surprisingly, turned out to be more affordable than expected. I am to weak to hold my f-attachment tenor for long. I'm confident that when treated correctly all remedy this but in the meantime I need to play. I know this is not because I'm 70 years old. However, with this situation, even these seemingly small expenses add up quickly.

I'm truly grateful for your past contributions and humbly ask for your consideration once more.

I'm exploring various avenues to alleviate my financial strain, including selling items online and seeking alternative sources of income. I'm so happy I would've be able to return to teaching when's my story of those up. I suspect because of things that have happened to me, it's more difficult for people is it make the decision to study with me. All that was not my fault that it never should've happened. It leaves me practically bankrupt.

I have a proposal that I believe could benefit both myself and our community.

My compositions are now available performance. I will announce this is separate Post on Facebook. Ensembles can purchase the performance rights, these are all listed on ASCAP.

These are available also in custom versions adjusted to the individual needs of each ensemble. In addition to performance rights, custom versions, a video recording of your ensemble performing the work can be tailor made, celebrating the performing ensemble. This video could showcase your talents, serve as a source of recruitment and inspiration for others, and potentially be used as a fundraiser to support your endeavors. I believe this project has the potential to not only generate income but also foster a sense of community and creativity.

Your support in this endeavor would mean the world to me. Whether it's through a donation, playing my compositions, buy graphics, sharing the news with your networks, or offering words of encouragement, every gesture counts. Together, we can overcome these challenges and continue pursuing our passions.

Thank you for taking the time to read this message and for considering my request. Your friendship and support are invaluable to me, and I am deeply grateful for your continued kindness.

Warm regards,

Scott

Dear Friends,

I hope this message finds you well. I'm reaching out with a heartfelt request for your support during a challenging time in my life.

Recently, I faced unexpected hurdles that significantly impacted my ability to work and maintain financial stability. Despite my best efforts, various distractions and health issues made it incredibly difficult to focus on my responsibilities. The resulting strain not only affected my productivity but also depleted my savings as I navigated through these obstacles.

Fortunately, I'm grateful to share that I've been rehired and am now back on track, feeling more productive and fulfilled than ever before. However, the burden of debt from that challenging period continues to loom over me, posing a threat to my financial security and future progress.

I've set up this GoFundMe campaign with the hope of alleviating some of this financial strain. Your generous donations would make a significant difference in helping me overcome these challenges and move forward with confidence.

I understand that times are tough for many, and I wouldn't make this request lightly. Your consideration and support mean the world to me, and I'm incredibly grateful for any assistance you can provide.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness, generosity, and support during this time. Together, we can overcome these obstacles and pave the way for a brighter future.

Warm regards,
Scott

My name is Scott Carter, and for several years, my healthcare team insisted on treating me as though I was malingering instead of acknowledging the truth. I've endured a slew of health issues including a fungal infection, Parkinson’s disease, insomnia, allergies to dust and mold, inherited gout, chronically low testosterone, and diabetes. The stress caused by being disbelieved exacerbated my pain to the point where it felt akin to kidney stones. Currently, I'm experiencing persistent tingling in one toe, making it difficult for me to sleep and focus.

I've experienced skin issues, bruises, swelling, and was told these were solely due to diabetic neuropathy, despite additional symptoms like shooting pains and nightly foot itching. Despite my efforts to manage my health, including insulin treatment and dietary changes resulting in significantly reduced food intake, my glucose levels remained uncontrolled, sometimes requiring extra insulin with no effect.

When I sought medical help at an urgent care center, I was dismissed and told to accept my condition as chronic, despite the debilitating pain and disruption to my life. This disregard for my suffering has been a recurring theme, despite my earnest efforts to self-treat and improve my health. I've battled chronic low testosterone since 1995, with doctors dismissing my concerns and attributing my symptoms to inaccurate lab results or misdiagnoses.

Recently, I've been prescribed antibiotics for an infection, which has further complicated my glucose control despite my efforts to manage it through diet. Each time I've taken matters into my own hands and sought alternative treatments, such as addressing my fungal infection or improving my living conditions to reduce allergies, I've seen improvements in my health.

However, these challenges have taken a toll on my life. Stress has impacted my ability to socialize, disrupted my sleep, and even caused blackout episodes, leading to accidents and injuries. Despite having service dogs that signal when something is wrong, there's been no proactive outreach from healthcare professionals to ensure my safety.

Moreover, I've encountered financial strain due to medical expenses, compounded by reimbursement issues and difficulty maintaining income. The stress from these financial burdens has affected my ability to pursue my passion for music, forcing me to buy lighter instruments due to physical weakness and affordability constraints.

Despite these challenges, I'm determined to overcome them. I've recently found a supportive healthcare provider who listens to me and trusts my judgment, which has been a breakthrough. However, the damage to my reputation and financial stability persists, making it challenging to rebuild my private instruction studio and manage my debts.

In light of these struggles, I'm reaching out for help to alleviate my financial burdens and cover my living expenses until I can regain financial stability through increased studio enrollment. I'm deeply passionate about my work and remain committed to helping others through my experiences and teachings, despite the obstacles I face.
